BLACK WOMEN : YOUR MUSE OR YOUR SCAPEGOAT

Society today shows us daily that their is a lack of respect for black women and that their feelings are neglected. Also that they are America’s scapegoat for so much when they’ve been forced to bury the burden of so much pain. Black women have endured years of mental and physical abuse from not only America but from the black man and still, are pressured to love and nurture them unconditionally. In the words of Malcolm X “the most disrespected person in America is the black women. The most unprotected person in America is the black woman. The most neglected person in America is the black woman.” Black women and even black men about the daily pressures put on black women. Younger black women today have a terrible insight on how they view the world and how they think women are supposed to be treated.   These are thumbnails for potential resume outlines. I chose these thumbnails because they do not crowd the page with a bunch of information. Clearly in each sketch I wanted my experience, education, skills, and information highlighted. I wanted those to be the main points showcased on my resume, mainly because that's all you need on it. I would use all of these designs because they aren't overlooking each other. Each design allows for different creativity, although they'll have the same information, the way the page looks would be different from what people usually see.

Communication is Key

 As a student just entering college it isn’t impossible to turn your visual communication into verbal, audio or written forms of communication. Comprehension has been a part of everyone’s school curriculum forever because it is important that you truly understand . You usually have to put it into your own words or should be able to explain it to someone else. Verbal communication is hands down the easiest and most effective way to communicate. That is because it is more direct! When someone is explaining something to you, there are many factors that show them that you might need more help understanding. Also verbal communication allows you to ask questions which is key to truly comprehending everything you don’t get. When you’re learning math, another language or getting directions, you will always want to ask questions.
